Insomnia Barista Competition 2011: Final

The Final of our 3rd annual Insomnia Barista Competition took place Wednesday December 7 in Insomnia Charlotte Way. It was hard work, but also a fun afternoon. Our five finalists were: Monyka (Insomnia Abbey St), Karolina (Insomnia Rathmines), Kamila () Thank you to all participants and supporters. Congratulations to our Insomnia Barista Champion 2011: Faruk Ahamed from Insomnia @ Spar Leeson St.

Meet the judges!

From left to right:
Radka is our Technical Judge. She is a Certified Irish National Barista Judge since 2008 and judging on Irish National Barista competitions annually. She is also in charge of Insomnia Barista Championship.
Anita, our Coffee Specialist and Trainer. She is also a Certified Irish National Barista Judge for 2011.
Dominik manages our store @ Dun Laoghaire. He’s been with us since 2005. He competed in Irish National Barista Championship in 2008/2009. He is a SCAE Ireland Certified Judge for 2011.
Filip is one of our Sensory Judges. He works as Franchise Operations Manager and he has been judging in our competitions for the last 3 years.
Ewelina is currently managing 2 stores @ Baggot Str. She previously took part in our internal competitions and she also participated on the national level.
