Since 2006 we have been involved with producing only Fairtrade coffee, tea and hot chocolate and we are delighted to be participating in this years Fairtrade Fortnight. For the fifth consecutive year, we will be donating 5 cents from every coffee, tea and hot chocolate sold to our two nominated projects of the Oromia Coffee Farmers Co-operative Union, Ethiopia and the Hakima Girls School in Bukoba, Tanzania.
The Fairtrade Fortnight kicked off on Monday the 24th of February and we were delighted to announce throughout the duration of the Fairtrade Fortnight we will be running coffee tasting events in a host of our stores to give customers the chance to sample our Limited Edition Insomnia Blend Coffee Beans and to learn a bit about our coffee farmers and the journey our coffee takes from plant to your cup.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out on our facebook and Twitter pages to find out more about our coffee tasting events and where they will be taking place in the coming days. You will also be able to purchase our Limited Edition Insomnia Blend Coffee Beans in a selection of our stores.
