Throughout the course of Fairtrade Fortnight we were donating 5 cent from every hot beverage sold to our nominated Insomnia Fairtrade Project.
This year we raised a fantastic €11,648 during Fairtrade Fortnight 2014. The money raised during Fairtrade Fortnight goes directly to the Hekima Girls School in Bukoba, Tanzania, this year’s nominated Insomnia Fairtrade Project.
The €11,648 raised will go toward the building of a new infirmary at the Hekima girls school in Bukoba, Tanzania.
- Each week more than 20 students are treated for malaria
- The new Infirmary will effectively take care of students health, improve school nurse efficiency, reduce healthy students nursing the sick therefore improving students academic performance
We have raised funds for the fifth consecutive year and contributed a total of €52,340 for our various Fairtrade Community Projects.
