Insomnia Takes Part In SPAR International Congress

This week Harry O’Kelly (CEO), Filip Spevak (SPAR Franchise Manager) and Ronan McCullough (Account Manager) represented Insomnia Coffee Company at the SPAR International Congress, they were showcasing Insomnia to International delegates at the conference.

There were delegates from all over the world being represented, from Austria to Zambia! Our coffee was a big hit at the conference with a lot of interest being shown.

Insomnia @ Easons Limerick

We were proud to celebrate the official opening of our first Insomnia store in Limerick last Friday – at the Easons store on O’Connell Street.

Limerick Mayor, Gerry McLoughlin was guest of honour at the store launch and was kind enough to say a few words. He said he hopes Limerick people will support the new coffee shop, the opening of which, he said, is another boost for the city centre.

Six people will be employed by Insomnia in the Limerick store.

This is the first Insomnia coffee shop to open in Limerick and the fourth to open in Easons, having

coffee shops in their Dublin, Cork and Galway stores already.

St. Michaels House Win Sponsored Coffee Morning

In conjunction with the Special Olympics Ireland, Insomnia Coffee Company ran a competition to sponsor a coffee morning.

St. Michaels House Special School, Baldoyle, Dublin 13 were announced as the winners of the competition. Diane, store manager at our Northern Cross store, and the rest of her staff welcomed Ella, a student of St. Michael’s House Special School to the store to collect the coffee morning hamper they had won.

We are proud to have sponsored such a great cause and hope that the staff at St. Michael’s House enjoyed their coffee morning.

Insomnia opens new doors this morning in Eason, O’Connell Street Limerick. This is the first Insomnia Coffee Shop to open in Limerick and the fourth to open in Eason, having Insomnia in their Dublin, Cork and Galway stores already.

We’re brushing up on some of our Limerick lingo in preparation for our new store opening in Limerick. We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest store at Easons – O’Connell Street, Limerick.

The final touches are being carried out to have our new store looking tip top before its grand opening this Friday, 10th of May at 8:30am. Heres a glimpse of how the new store is coming along, as you can see we’re nearly ready for you.

Greystones Gourmet, a celebration of the restaurants, cafes and gourmet food outlets in the coastal town of Greystones, Co Wicklow.

This Sunday, 05/05/2013 Insomnia are taking part in Gourmet Greystones, setting up a workshop to give people a chance to taste our premium coffee.

Dominik , one of our coffee experts, will be carrying out the premium coffee tasting between 2- 2:30pm.

Insomnia Introduce Keogh’s New Gluten Free Irish Atlantic Sea Salt Flavour

Here at Insomnia we are delighted to introduce the latest edition of Keogh’s Irish potato crisps into our stores, the Irish Atlantic Sea Salt, our three other flavours of Keogh’s crisps include Dubliners Irish Cheese & Onion, Shamrock & Sour Cream and Atlantic Sea Salt & Irish Cider Vinegar available in our Insomnia stores. This flavour is gluten free and available in 50g packs from Monday 22^nd April.

Keogh’s potato crisps are made using their delicious Irish potatoes which are hand cooked in small batches using pure fresh sunflower oil and seasoned with the finest ingredients sourced locally to their farm and then straight to our stores.

Keogh’s Irish Atlantic Sea Salt potato crisps are lightly seasoned with Sea Salt handcrafted on the Beara Peninsula in West Cork by the O’Neill Family.
