Our Insomnia store on Baggot Street is featured on our Facebook page this September 2011. Check it out here  or alternatively find the Q & A with our  manager Ewelina and some lovely store photos below.

Ewelina, Manager at Insomnia 15 & 20 Baggot Street.

-Where are you originally from?
I am originally from Poland.  I’ve been in Ireland for 8 years and enjoying every minute of it.
-What do you like best about working at Insomnia?
I really enjoy the customers.  We have a lot of regulars who are always a pleasure to see and talk to.  I also like making coffee and making recommendations on what customers should try.  It is nice to make people  smile and help them relax for however long they are with us in the shop.
-What Insomnia beverage should customers try?
Highly recommend to treat yourself to a delicious flat white with a freshly baked almond croissant. Delish!
-Have you had any celebrity encounters?
Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary ordered 3 takeaway coffees – Americano, Latte and Mocha.  He was in a rush and two minutes after he left, he came back with a big smile on his face and asked for new coffees because he dropped them all.  We gave him replacement coffees on the house. I should have negotiated a complimentary flight in exchange...LOL!
-If you were on Dragons’ Den, what business would you propose Bobby Kerr to invest in?
Hot air balloon rides! I think tourists are looking for a bit of a thrill when they visit Dublin. Imagine flying high over the trees in Stephen’s Green or Phoenix Park – how exciting and what a view.  It is big business in New York and Boston, so why not Dublin!

Insomnia store 20 Baggot Street offers a small seating area at the entrance of the store.

Gluten free macaroons and brownies can be found to the left of the pastry fridge - right next to our snack size chocolate bars and surf seeds
