New Year Menu
Here's to a brand-new menu, a brand-new decade and of course, a brand-new Insomnia menu! We are delighted to kick start the new year with new hot beverages and bakery items to get you ready for the year ahead. We've introduced lots of healthy and vegan items so all of you who are trying Veganuary, we got you covered!
We are shaking things up after our indulgent Christmas drinks by adding some nutrient-rich drinks that will have you feeling terrific.
Purple Latte made with Coconut Drink
An exciting new addition to the menu is the Purple Latte. Believe it or not, our Purple Latte is made from sweet potato. It contains the same natural pigment that makes the red colour of strawberries and cherries which gives it its purple colour. This drink is vegan-friendly as it's made with plant-based coconut drink (for no extra cost) and is caffeine free too! As well as sweet potato, it contains all-natural ingredients including coconut sugar, beetroot, butterfly pea and a hint of ginger.
Golden Turmeric Latte
A golden oldie is our Golden Turmeric Latte! We have a latte love for turmeric lattes at Insomnia and so this delicious and nutritious "super latte" is the perfect January pick-me-up. Turmeric is known for its powerful antioxidant agents, anti-inflammatory properties and is said to act a digestive aid which helps to boost your metabolism. This is useful for these colder months to keep you in tip-top shape. This is also caffeine-free and carries the perfect blend of cinnamon and ginger, and coconut blossom sugar to add a little sweetness. This can be made vegan by asking yuor barista to make it with dairy-free milk
Matcha is a bright green powder made from ground tea leaves...ours is mixed with a little vanillia for flavour will keep you energized the whole day through. Matcha is also known for its health benefits for your immune system and is rich in antioxidants... Vegan? Just ask for it to be made on dairy-free milk... what's not to love?
This delight is a vegan twist on the classic Millionaire. Ours is made with a crunchy base made from peanuts, oats and dates covered in a layer of maple syrup and sweetened dates, and finally finshed with a rich vegan chocolate fudge topping. It is as good as it sounds! Why not enjoy it with a cup of coffee made with one of our dairy-free milks for a vegan-licious feast?
Vegan Coffee & Hazelnut Brownie
Our newest brownie to the family! It's plant based, made with moist dark chocolate brownie base, topped with a coffee-flavoured frosting, roasted hazelnuts, chocolate-flavoured cookie pieces and finished with a dark chocolate drizzle. Its rich flavour from the luscious dark chocolate is well-balanced with the sweet coffee icing and cookie pieces, along with a nutty flavour from the roasted hazelnuts.
Lemon Honey & Bee Pollen Loaf
This is a new slice of sunshine to the menu.. Our lemon, honey and bee pollen loaf cake has a moist crumb texture and a glazed lemon marmalade topping. It's decorated with desiccated coconut and bee pollen pieces. We love this loaf cake as it carries a citrus and sweet flavour, which is complimented by warming honey tones, sharpness from the lemon topping and an added crunch from the coconut and bee pollen pieces. You need to get your hands on this!
Keep the cravings away with our delicious porridge bread. It's the ultimate choice if you're looking for healthy option for breakfast. It is a rich, unsweetened breakfast bread made with rolled oats and natural yoghurt.Try it toasted with some butter and jam.
