Our exciting partnership with leading fashion retailer Primark, which was announced last year, has seen us open our doors to the first UK Insomnia store, located in Bromley. Currently, we have three stores operating in Ireland - Penneys Athlone, Penneys Swords and Penneys Waterford. 

We are enormously proud of this achievement, which marks a high point for all associated with Insomnia, when you look back through the history and where we started - in a Galway bookstore almost two decades ago, back in 1997. Insomnia CEO, Harry O’Kelly, “Primark is a leading international brand operating in 300+ stores over ten countries, so this is a partnership we are very excited about and are delighted to continue our expansion as a concession partner with them."

The store itself boasts a new modern design on our shop fit. There are unique elements to the store such as a gallery wall and even teacup lights! The ample seating options create a cosy and relaxed atmosphere for customers to unwind with a cup of coffee after a hard days shopping. Our team have been hard at work, ensuring that everything to the smallest detail was ready to welcome the Bromley community. 

The first Insomnia coffee was served on Tuesday morning, where, Tayeb, our store manager, and our team Louise and Kim were eager to get started and familiarizing the UK with our premium Fairtrade coffee. Harry O Kelly, "Great coffee and great fashion under one roof is a winning formula for Primark customers."
