28 Mar2019 Coffee Crossroads - We’re now open in Mallow!

Today we’ve opened our doors in Mallow, Cork! Mallow has been nicknamed the “Crossroads of Munster” linking roads to Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford!
The store is located in William O’Brien St, in a walking distance from Mallow Castle, The Spa, The Clock House and four different schools in the neighbourhood.
Insomnia Mallow will employ 7 new members of staff and it’s the very first official opening for our Regional Manager, Iwona Cebula, who said this morning, “We’re opening just in time for the Easter Races Festival that takes place in Mallow in April – it’s a big event in town and we hope to get many visits and introduce our Fairtrade Coffee to Mallow residents!”
Our 7th store in Cork is located in this very close net community made of extremely friendly people who support the new businesses in town - Olimpia Wylezek, our store manager, who has been working with Insomnia as a supervisor in Blackpool, mentions the importance of the new Mallow store for the local community, “this is a very family focused and family-oriented town, we hope to become a very important part of the local community too!”
A new member to the Mallow team is Ciara Bowden, who is thrilled with the opening and excited to start serving seasonal treats such as the Bueno Brownie (her favourite!) and the Ruby Hot Chocolate. Ciara commented this morning, “As Insomnia is a very well-known Irish coffee company, I felt it would be a great opportunity to broaden my knowledge of the coffee/hospitality industry. I also felt it would be a great achievement to learn new skills while supporting an indigenous Irish firm and enhancing the coffee industry in the town of Mallow. I also love working with people and felt it was a chance to become a part of a new team.”
