13 Jun2019 Insomnia Coffee opens in Loughboy, our second store in Co. Kilkenny!

Insomnia Coffee Co are delighted to announce the opening of our new Insomnia outlet in Loughboy Shopping Centre, our second store in the wonderful city of Kilkenny after our store in Market Cross Shopping Centre. We’re looking forward to serving coffee to the local residents and businesses nearby and we are sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Customers can also avail of free parking at the shopping centre. 

Our Insomnia Loughboy is providing employment for 6 new members of staff, who we are so excited to have on board. Mikayla Guidera, our store manager, started off with us as a barista two years ago in Insomnia Market Cross Shopping Centre and says she chose to work for Insomnia as “it was the perfect opportunity for me to learn all about coffee and to become a Barista. Insomnia is fantastic for progressing within the company”. 

Simone, our store supervisor who has been working in the industry for 12 years, is looking forward to joining the team and she was interested in a job with Insomnia as it seems like a fun family to join. Her favourite Insomnia drink is a flat white and thinks that our Loughboy customers are going to favour the classic cappuccino.

Our new refreshing summer menu is available in store which includes our new Voyager coffee, lemonade range and ICECAPs flavours - Oreo, Strawberry Rainbow, Salted Caramel Latté and Mint Chocolate.  Make sure and call in to the team in Loughboy shopping centre so they can serve you your favourite coffee and snacks. 

Opening hours are: Monday - Wednesday 8.00am - 6.00pm, Thursday - Friday 8.00 - 7.00pm, Saturday 8.00am - 6.00pm, Sunday 10.00am - 6.00pm
