26 Feb2020 Doors Open at Insomnia Dorset Street!

We opened the doors of our first store of 2020!! 

Our, brand new, Insomnia Dorset Street store opened this week and prior to its opening, we conducted a very official Instagram poll to settle the debate whether it's pronounced "Dor-set" street or "Dorsit" Street and the results are in... we can now confirm its "Dor-set" street!

Dorset Street is located on the northside of Dublin and is a stone's throw away from Dublin city centre. The new cafe is on a bustling street with many amenities nearby. It's close to the Mater Hospital, Temple Street Hospital and Croke Park is situated closeby for all your game day fuel!

It's a beautiful and bright store with tonnes of natural light and the perfect place to grab a coffee and a snack with some friends! Our new team is made up of Ondrej - our regional manager, Gergely is the store manager who has previously worked with us in Insomnia Liffey Street.. Our supervisor Julia has lots of experience and enjoys working in the cofffe industry, her favourite Insomnia food item is our vegan brownie and thinks hot chocolate will be customers' go-to! Cianna is our trainee supervisor and Gabriela is our barista. Minshi and Mitzi join the team as trainee baristas and Mitzi also thinks Insomnia is a friendly place to work and loves coffee!  We are really excited to have the new team on board!

We hope to serve this busy spot with a wide range of beverages including our New Year drinks... Matcha Latte, Golden Turmeric Latte and Vegan Purple Latte. We also have some amazing lunch options on offer with a range of  salads, ciabattas, sandwiches, toasties and baguettes, along with plenty of tasty treats perfect for dessert.
