Insomnia Treats has been brewing up new offers and features since 2014, we’re always looking for ways to surprise and delight our customers. As our customers adapt to a digitally driven lifestyle, they are looking for similar technologies that will personalise, enhance and simplify their in-store experience - with the Treats App (available for IOS & Android) customers can Top Up their account, sent digital e-gift cards, view transactions and track their progress to a free coffee.

App upgrades have also allowed us to communicate more effectively with our customers. We now have the ability to send personalised push notifications, SMS, targeted in app pop-up messages, along with email. We have also introduced additional features such as gamification of gifts eg ‘Scratch to Unveil’ and ‘Spin the Wheel’.

In 2020, Insomnia became the first high-street coffee chain in Ireland to launch a Click and Collect service, available exclusively via the Insomnia Treats app. Our in-app ordering service allows customers to order ahead and pick up their coffee at a time suitable to them. The dedicated ordering function is fully integrated with the Insomnia Treats Loyalty app and allows customers to earn and redeem loyalty benefits as they would in-store. Customers receive an alert when their order is received, being prepared and finally ready to collect. Every order is personalised to the customers personal preference, so customers receive the same hand-crafted coffee without the queue!
