We're very excited to announce that Insomnia opened a new store this week in Athy, Co. Kildare. The store, located on Edmund Rice Square, is the perfect spot to take a break while doing some shopping in the town centre or to grab a hot chocolate and warm up after browsing the markets in the town square.

Insomnia Athy is a stone’s throw away from the jetty in Athy town centre so it’s also the perfect spot for those travelling on the Grand Canal or Barrow Navigation by boat who are looking for a spot to stop for a lunch break.

Athy store manager David says “It’s very exciting to be opening the store in a town that has demand for a place for people to meet up for a chat and a coffee. As the town gets busier over the Christmas season I can’t wait to meet all of our new customers”. David’s favourite hot drink is the caramel latte but he predicts that the cappuccino or hot chocolate will be the favourite of our Athy customers!

The Athy store is spacious with an array of seating available, it’s fitted with our new look design which gives the store a very welcome and comfortable feel. If you’re in the area feel free to pop in and say hello to our lovely baristas.
