Now Serving Your Daily Brew on Gardiner Street

Insomnia Coffee is pleased to announce the opening of our latest store located on Gardiner Street, one of Dublin’s most distinguished Georgian Streets.

Gardiner Street is one of Dublin’s best know streets due to its historical, cultural, political and architectural importance. The store is just a stone’s throw from Mountjoy Square, we’re already dreaming of ICECAPS in the square on hot summer days!  Other popular locations nearby are St. Francis Street Xavier Church, Cathal Brugha campus of TU Dublin, IBAT College - Frederick Street Campus and Trinity College.

Store Manager Monica and her team are open daily and ready to serve you your favourite coffee and sweet treats.  We spoke to some staff members ahead of the opening. Barista Anna is looking forward to working with Insomnia, and the opportunity to learn and develop further. She also told us “it is also my favourite coffee so I knew I would love my job working for something I love to make and feel passionate about”.  Her favourite hot beverage is a Caramel Macchiato and food wise she loves our Hot Chilli Tuna Croque. She thinks lattes or cappuccinos will be most popular with the locals.

Barista Mario has over 5 years’ experience in the coffee/hospitality industry. He is looking forward to getting involved in Insomnia’s sustainability programme and educating customers about our initiatives such as rewarding customers for using any reusable cup in our stores, giving away our coffee grounds for customers to reuse for gardening and compostable take away cups. His favourite hot beverage is an Americano while he thinks the locals’ favourite will be a Latte. Barista Arturo has 1 years’ experience in the coffee/hospitality industry. He is looking forward to working with our high-quality products. A Dark Mocha is his hot beverage of choice and a Croque Monsieur when he’s grabbing lunch. He thinks a latte will be the locals’ favourite hot beverage.
