04 Oct2018 Oh me, oh my, we’re now open in Mullingar!

We’re delighted to have opened today our first store in the lovely town of Mullingar!

Located on Pearse Street, the main street in town, the new Insomnia store is a great new addition to the town best known for being home to some of the best music talents in Ireland and also very famous for its Christmas Markets.

Speaking about the opening, Harry O’ Kelly, CEO of Insomnia “I am delighted to open our first store in Mullingar, I’m sure this new shop in Pearse Street will be very popular.”

Insomnia Mullingar has provided employment for seven new members of staff in town. Store manager, David, who has previously worked with Insomnia as Store manager in Athy is looking forward to leading the new team in Mullingar, “Insomnia has a great work environment and friendly people”.

Our barista, Aoife, who is from Mullingar said, “I was really excited when Insomnia announced they were coming to Mullingar! I’ve always liked Insomnia coffee and the way the brand dealt with the public - I wanted to be part of this team.”. Aoife is very much involved in the local community and is part of “The Lynn Singers”, a contemporary choir for young women.

Monika Krok, who is also part of the new team, has more than 12 years of experience in the Hospitality industry, said this morning, “It’s an honour for me to be part of this iconic Irish brand in Ireland. I know what it means and how much effort and tough work is behind the success of Insomnia Coffee Company.”
