23 Apr2019 Thank you for supporting Fairtrade Fortnight 2019

We'd like to say a huge thank you to all our customers for their fantastic support during Fairtrade Fortnight. We are delighted to announce that this year we raised €21,650 which will go directly to our nominated project, the Manizales Coffee Cooperative in Colombia. This means that since 2009 we have raised an incredible €129,039 for our nominated projects.

This years' project is very special to the Insomnia team as we source our Voyager Single Origin Medium Roast Coffee from the Colombian cooperative. The money raised will have a direct impact on the lives of the cooperative members and their families by;

Providing eco-efficient cookers and kitchens to families and improving coffee quality conditions at farm level.
Improving health and living conditions of cooperative members and their families
Aiding environmental protection; resulting in a reduction in the demand for wood to a sustainable level
Empowering women at farm level
