We are thrilled to announce our newest store opening in Tallaght Cross, located right on the luas platform so getting there couldn’t be easier! Our Tallaght Cross store boasts a sleek, modern design and is the perfect place to catch up with friends and family, along with your favourite beverage. We also operate a popular book swap in store where if you leave a book behind, you are welcome to take a book home with you!

Michal Kierpiec is our new store manager and has been working in the coffee industry for over 12 years so is well equipped to handle all your coffee needs! He was been with Insomnia for 4 years, previously working in our Ballsbridge, Baggot Street and Saggart stores. Michal enjoys working with Insomnia as he says the role continues to allow him the opportunity to grow and improve himself, having started as a trainee barista. He loves Insomnia for “diversity, being friendly and fair” and his drink of choice is an Iced Latte on coconut milk, prepared on our new medium roast coffee, Voyager.

Including Michal, the new store will provide employment for 6 staff members who we are vey excited to join the Insomnia Team. Rachel O Loughlin, a brand new Insomnia team member, is looking forward to starting in Tallaght Cross and feels her personality is well suited to working with customers within a coffee shop environment. Rachels favourite coffee is a latte but feels our hot chocolate will be a local favourite. 

Kerri, another newbie to the Insomnia Team, has experience working in the coffee industry so can’t wait to whip you up a delicious coffee or two. One of the reasons she chose to work with Insomnia is because it is a Fairtrade company which is important to her. She is also a big latte fan but thinks a flat white will be the locals favourite drink. 

Why not call into our newest store in Tallaght Cross, meet the team and try something new from our summer menu such as our delicious ICECAPs, refreshing lemonades or one of our Limited Edition drinks: Cold Brew, Amaretto Affogato or Orange Espresso Tonic. Why not also try our new Voyager coffee? It is our medium roast, 100% arabica, sourced from Guatemala and Brazil. As it is cooked for less time it has a softer and sweeter flavour profile than our original house blend and is truly delicious!
