19 Oct2016 Westland Row welcomes Insomnia Coffee

We're delighted to announce our latest opening with partners SPAR on Westland Row, which is a street on the south side of Dublin city, dating back from the year 1776.

Shane, our store manager expresses his love for coffee and recently completed a course with the Dublin Barista School. "I have heard nothing but great things about Insomnia so decided I wanted to be part of the Insomnia family" and so applied for a position with us. With an extensive managerial experience he knows how to motivate and keep his team interested in their jobs. His personal favourite is a caramel soya latte, but says that the americano and hot chocolate "seems to be going down a treat so far!".

Originally from the UK, Shane is now living in Lucan. He explains how working in Westland Row is the perfect spot as it is "quiet but not too far away from the hustle and bustle of the city". His ultimate career goal is to own his coffee shop one day.

Christopher, one of our baristas, from Malahide loves the Pumpkin pie, vanilla or caramel latte (but not all flavours in one!) He thinks the hot chocolate will be a high seller among the locals. He hopes to one day become an actor. Luiza, our second barista loves arabica coffee, and is looking forward to working in the area as she lives close by in Dublin.
