We are now open in Letterkenny! We’re thrilled to have opened today our first store in Co. Donegal, just in time for your Christmassy Coffee!

Letterkenny, known as The Cathedral Town and the largest town in County Donegal, is now home for an Insomnia coffee shop – located in the Main Street where the famous Berry Layne restaurant used to be, the store is located in the Cathedral quarter in the heart of the town centre, just a short walk away from the cathedral.

The new store design is inspired by coffee and it promises to be the new local hub for the Letterkenny community. With a comfortable and welcoming seating area and some quirky and fun décor, this is the perfect place for your morning coffee or to relax with friends over a delicious Hot Chocolate. The store will also run the popular book swap system, where apart from enjoying a book to read while having a coffee in store, customers can take a book away and all they have to do is leave a book to stay.

Egle Maciulyte, our Store Manager, has 9 years of experience working in hospitality and she is really excited with the opening “it’s a very big Irish company, with great career opportunities, it offers the best coffee I ever had and has a friendly environment.”

Egle believes the new local’s favourite will be the Hot Chocolate during the colder season!

Our Supervisor, Lauren Halligan, told us this morning that her favourites are the Red Velvet Cake and Hot Chocolate – some of the Christmas products range that you can find available in store.
