Insomnia Baggot Street

Insomnia Baggot Street has been awarded Café of the Year at the Retail Excellence Awards 2023. This represents the third year in a row that Insomnia has won the Café of the Year category with Insomnia Shackleton and Insomnia Thurles picking up the accolade in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Retail Excellence is the largest representative body for the retail sector in Ireland and the annual awards programme identify outstanding examples of retail businesses across the country. The awards were established in 1997 to promote best practice and encourage the highest standards in the Irish Retail Industry. They are now the largest and most prestigious of their kind in Ireland.

Hundreds of Irish Retailers from all corners of the country entered this competition, but Insomnia Baggot Street was one of 30 businesses that made it through to the final stages of this year’s Retail Excellence Awards. The Top30 stores were rigorously tested with a financial audit and an onsite visit from Retail Excellence and Echochamber with Insomnia Baggot Street chosen as Café of the Year.

Retail Excellence noted “This prestigious award recognises Insomnia for their exceptional dedication to crafting a warm and inviting atmosphere, serving top-notch coffee, and providing an outstanding cafe experience”.
